FAQ

Frequently asked questions about both on-site and commission embroidery

How can I book an event?

You can contact me either here or by emailing danicapantic@gmail.com to receive my price list and more samples.

Once you’ve approved the estimated, you will have to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to have me block your desired date off. Deposit must be paid 5 days before your event. You can cancel the event up to 5 days before the event - after that I will ask for the remaining 50% balance.

What type of items can you embroider?

My machines can handle almost any fabric. I will ask you, once you confirm booking, to send me a sample of the item to make sure I have the right supplies to embroider your item. This piece will then serve as a finished example of what your guests should expect.

I do not provide the gifted items for event embroidery. Client is responsible for getting the items themselves.

I tend to avoid structured hats (baseball caps or fedoras) for on-site work as the hooping mechanism is not event-friendly.

What embroidery do you offer?

I do machine, digital embroidery. I can offer text and/or designs for your event. I have a large library of icons to pull from, and can digitize any custom artwork you’d like to provide me. Keep in mind, to keep the process fast, I only do small (less than 2”) designs that are a single color, and line work only. If you would like to offer a font that is not in my library for monogramming, I can also digitize custom fonts for a small fee.

How many pieces can you finish at my event?

I do not promise any given quantity of finished pieces - traffic flow is unpredictable on site, and therefore I charge by the amount of time you’d like me there.

I will provide you with a rough estimate of how much time each of your chosen designs/text will take to stitch out, but of course keep in mind that things happen on site that we cannot control sometimes.

I do offer finishing the pieces that are still in the queue at the end of your event in my studio for a small fee, or you can tell me to cut your guests off so I can be done embroidering when your event is done. Keep in mind that I will send these pieces to you and it will be your responsibility to get them to your guests.

Where are you based?

FOR EVENTS - I am based in NYC, although I do travel all over the continental US and Canada. Currently, I am not able to service other continents.

FOR COMMISSIONS - I can provide this service to you, no matter where you’re located, as long as you can ship your items to me.

Can I hire you for multiple events/stations?

Yes, and I provide discounts for events that last multiple days or require multiple stations. The discount will depend on your event. I have up to 4 stations available, and they don’t have to travel together.

Do you take commissions?

Yes, I do take small (up to ~300 items) commissions. I don’t have a minimum, and can do any type of bespoke digital embroidery you may need. I only provide the embroidery service - clients are responsible for arranging and paying for shipping the pieces they would like to have embroidered to and from my studio when the embroidery is complete.

I require a 50% non-refundable deposit for commission work.

I offer discounts for larger orders, although pricing will depend on the specific details of your commission.

What is the turnaround time for commissions?

Normal turnaround is 2 weeks, although smaller (less than 100 pieces) commissions usually take 5 days. I can handle rush orders, but will charge a rush fee. This fee will depend on size, quantity and how quickly you will need the commission. I can take up to 24 hour rush jobs.

What is your shipping policy?

I do not provide shipping, you will have to mail your pieces to me, and provide me with a label to return your order. If this is not possible, in some circumstances, I will charge you the balance for shipping, and let you know before I mail the package out. NYC local clients can messenger to my studio.

What form of payment do you take?

You can pay me via ACH, Zelle, PayPal, and all major credit cards (I do charge a 3% fee for card payments). If you would like to pay via card, I will send you a Stripe payment link along with your invoice.

What is your refund policy?

I do not offer refunds. I provide a service, and similarly cannot offer returns or exchanges.

What is your privacy policy?

I do not track or share any of your information with any other company.
